Artist Bio:
sohme production is the sound-based practice of musician, producer and architectural designer Saumon Oboudiyat. Based in Philadelphia, PA - sohme’s work is informed by nearly a decade of work as an architectural designer and a lifetime of musicianship - integrating analog & digital synthesis, acoustic instrument performance, and field recording - into experimental, textured, cinematic, and immersive compositions.
His debut album Palm (out now in digital album & vinyl formats via Phantom Limb UK Spirituals imprint) reflects on new fatherhood, cultural duality, and shifting stages of life through a delicate synthesis of acoustic instrumentation, electronic textures, and environmental sound.
